My day (in a nutshell)

Miss Jana Beans picked me up around 2pm today with a nice surprise....
These funky tiffany blue custom colored m&m's from Florida!!


















And off we went to Dalhousie so I could go to the dentist (poor me!)
71$, an xray, a few pokes & prods later I walked out with a diagnosed double wisdom tooth infection, a prescription for some antibiotics & a referral to an oral surgeon.

17$ later I got these puppies...



















After our mini-road trip I went over to Jana's house for some of her mom's clam chowder & some chit-chat. I left with a big stack of her books!! I so needed some new books.





















Oh! Artsymama commented asking about my art journal pages.....it is just 8.5x11 white cardstock cut to 5x7. I have no idea how I am going to bind it all yet....

Day 4!!!!!!!!!!

It's day four today!!!

what's up ppl!?!

Just a little bitty update...

-tomorrow I am off to the dentist!! My wisdom tooth has been much better today, the swelling has gone down some at least. I was thinking I had an infection, but since today is better maybe it was just irritated, I guess tomorrow I will know for sure. Jana, if he pulls it tomorrow we can stop & get ice cream right???

-Jamie has been working like crazy this week!!! The plant started it's test burn on Monday, yesterday was their first go with material in the furnance, things were going good until the roof caught fire this afternoon!! Crazy stuff! No one was hurt & they got things back to normal and have started up again. Jamie stay a few hours late to help out. He says he has about 600 jobs to do, so probably won't be seeing much of him for a bit! I think he is going to work all weekend too.

-Sunday I am heading down to Moncton for a few days. Going to visit Corey, look for bridesmaids dresses, and bring mom to go see Bryan Adams Monday night. Tuesday mom and I are either heading home or we are off with Jana to Fredericton for the night. We haven't made up our minds yet. But I really have to find some bridesmaids dresses and it's stressing me right out!!!

-I think that it is for now. Can't wait for tomorrow to come so I can do my day 4 challenge pages!!

21 day challenge...

I'm doing Rhonna's 21 day art journal challenge.

Looks like a fun project. I could not decide what my topic should be, so I am going to do two art journals instead of one.

Today was the first day so here are my enteries....

They are not very artsy....but I'm hoping to do more freestyle stuff as the days go on...

I'm lovin' felt lately... picked up some brown & pink stuff on Monday. Made this cute little bag, it was fitting for a little mini album that I have had laying around here forever!

For some reason..

I want a sewing machine.

I have a little beater one, but it's really only okay for sewing on my scrapbook pages.

I want a real one. I want to make something.

Playing tricks....

Sometimes when Jamie asks me to get him a drink of juice I will play a trick and pour a bit of juice into a super small cup or a shot glass.

Tonight after supper he asked me to make him dessert: granola, yogurt w/ some fruit.

He wasn't that impressed, good thing I had a normal sized back up dessert ready!! And I got to eat this one!

Jana made me do it...

Jana wanted to go out for dinner & a movie last night. I said no to the movie because I did not want to spend much $$$, so what did I do?? Spent way too much money on other things, lmao!!

-My mission was to get some photo paper. Check, plus a white sharpie marker.
-Then, while looking for a new basket for Jana's mom's kitchen I had to pick up this cute tin container whose use is so far undecided.
-After that is was off to a yummy dinner of Greek food. My first time having it and it was sooooo yummy. I'm craving it right now actually.
-What is a trip to Bathurst without stopping at the dollar store? So off to the mall we went. While there I proceeded to buy two shirts & a jacket/blazer type of thing. Oh, and blew some money at the 1$ store!

So that was my trip. Still undecided on the blazer that I got. It's nice, and it will be nice to wear maybe to my bachelorette party. So I might keep it. I can't get my cash back so what's the sense to return it, right? right?

It's way cuter looking on me at home than it was at the store, so I guess I will be holding on to it.

Or maybe I'll take a picture tomorrow and you blog readers can help me decide!! I'm so fussy lately.

So that was my Saturday fun with Jana recap. OH! We spent like an hour at the sears make up counter, the lady who works there was just a hoot!! I think we are going to go back to get our make up done. Fun stuff.

Slow Saturday today....gonna have a waffle & head out to run some errands with Jamie.

He has some stuff to pick up and is going to order some summer tires for the car. Then we are gonna stop off at the grocery store ( I think) and grab something to eat.

Later (if our plans are still on) Jana and I are going to head to Bathurst. She wants to get her Florida pics printed and I desperately need some photo paper!! Something fun to do since we haven't hung out in FOREVER.

I like lazy Saturday's. No plans, just doing whatever.

I think I may rent a movie tonight, I'd really like to watch crash.

so I didn't get a hall of fame call (not surprised), or an honorable mention call, but that is OKAY!!

I'm really okay with it. I'm not going to get upset and think my work SUCKS just because I didn't win this one contest.

Of course, it would have rocked to win, but I don't think I am any less of a scrapper.

I'm trying to take this whole experience and put a positive spin on this. It doesn't mean I have to give up, or change; I just need to improved, amp up my photography, get comfy in my style.

I can do this right? And this has given me all of the motivation in the world to do the things I have been letting sit on the back burner. I have been letting my scrappin' slack, haven't been submitting much at all. Aside from this contest, I haven't been challenging myself.

On Monday we get to see who the 25 Hall of Famers are and I CAN'T WAIT!! So exciting!!

Starting to stress out! Hall of Fame calls should be going out sometime between today and Friday. I know I won't be getting a call, but still, I have that anxious feeling that just maybe Lisa will call. Ugh. I hate having hope!! Okay....no hope. I won't get a call, that is fine! No biggie. I don't need 500$, tons of prizes and a chance to work for Creating Keepsakes for a year do I? Nah....

Just the whole fact that I know calls will soon be going out is stressing me to the max. I've had a headache for going on three days now!

With my luck they will all go out while I am at work this afternoon and I will miss all of the excitement on the boards.

If my cell phone rings at work today, I might crap my pants (those of you who know my number don't prank call me!!) I talked to Lisa before---I know her voice. LOL!

Okay, I think I reached straigh jacket terms right about now, hof is making me crazy!!

Got my cards idea book in the mail yesterday! Actually two designer copies, pretty cool stuff. I have never seen a cards issue before, so I was pretty impressed with the quality. Loved the goodies too.

-I also got my April CK--talk about cool!!! Love that magazine, I read 80% of it already. I'm obsessed with Ali's Studio 'A' article.
-tomorrow night Jamie and I have to go to prewedding counseling. It's a group thing. We have to go tomorrow night and all day Saturday. I have no idea what to expect and frankly I am a bit nervous.
-hoping to take some randomness pictures tomorrow morning.
-what am I going to wear to church?? I need clothes.
-might be going to a bridal show on Sunday
-no resolve in my bridesmaid dresses issue. Jana please make this decision for me!!
-Jana is still in Florida, no word yet if she found herself a wicked maid of honor dress. Here is to hoping!
-It has been over six months since I ordered my wedding dress. The lady said it would take six to eight months. I hope it gets here soon! Please let it come in the color & size that I ordered!
-Emailed my wedding planner like 3 days ago and still have not heard back from him---should I be nervous?
-my butt hurts from exercising tonight...sweet!
-kinda bummed that Santion lost project runway! Darn Chloe.
-I got new toothpaste on Tuesday and man it is strong! I'll be surprised if I still have teeth in my mouth tomorrow, powerful stuff.

-It's Mark's birthday today!! He is the big 2-5!!!!!!!! He came over tonight, but I was not here, so I did not get to give him his rockstar birthday card.
